We work daily to educate and empower those we serve through appropriate programs and services. The agency offers a wide array of programs at two different sites, ranging from family services, senior citizen programs, holiday activities, youth services and developmental childcare. These programs help bring stability and hope to those in need. Ninety cents out of every dollar donated to Guardian Angel Settlement Association goes directly to programs and services that transform lives, provide care and renew hope.
Our developmental childcare program operates year round Monday through Friday at our Child Development Center. We care for children from birth to six years of age, and charge parents on a sliding scale fee based on the ability to pay. We are licensed and accredited, and participants of both Early Head Start and Head Start.
Our social services site, Hosea House, operates our food pantry, thrift store, and case management. We provide emergency assistance with rent, utilities, and food to families and individuals in crisis. Additionally we run large scale holiday programs throughout the year such as our Thanksgiving Dinner, Christmas Program, and Back To School drive. We also administer youth programs and an older adult program through our social services division.
