"ANGELS ON THE MOVE" AUCTION NETS $125,000 FOR GASA!

We are thrilled to announce record-breaking success from this year's "Angels On The Move" Dinner Auction! The auction netted $125,000 for the agency, thanks to the outstanding support of donors, attendees, and volunteers.
This year's Construction themed dinner auction was held on April 25th at the Sheraton Westport. Angel Awards were presented to Amy & Bill Hinderer (posing above with their family) as well as to Monsanto. Additionally, a special Founder's Award was presented to the Daughters of Charity in recognition of their role as GASA's founders 150 years ago, in 1859. We were also excited to welcome Rene Knott back for a second year as the Master of Ceremonies for the evening.
A special thanks to our sponsors, Ameren UE, Monsanto, Nestle Purina Petcare, McGurk's Irish Pub, Anheuser-Busch, and Tiffany & Co.
A heartfelt GASA thank you goes out to all the volunteers, donors, sponsors, and staff who made the night such an incredible success!!

GASA CELEBRATES HISTORIC GROUNDBREAKING!

On February 19th, GASA made history by breaking ground on its new Child Development Center! This Center will be the first home GASA has built in its 150 year existence.
Pictured above are campaign co-chair Bill Hinderer, building committee chair Joe Kelley, GASA Executive Director Fr. Ed Murphy, general contractor Mike Perry, Mayor Francis Slay, and campaign co-chair Jim Holloran.
We at GASA are so proud to be embarking on this new phase of our history, and we want to thank those who have helped us get to this point! The groundbreaking ceremony was held at the new site, and was followed by a reception at Revival. We were also delighted to have Mayor Slay attend as our distinguished guest of honor!
